Woodside Junior Riders is very grateful for donations. All donations help and help to keep the lesson fee low for your child. Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Horses are not inexpensive: Hay costs between $20-$40 dollars per bale. A horse eats a bale a week. Shoeing is between $150 to $250 every eight weeks. Saddles cost $500 to $1,000. Donations can be submitted to the Program Director, Kathi Dancer – made out to WOODSIDE JUNIOR RIDERS.

Donations can be – Gently used or new bridles, saddles, girths, halters/lead ropes, wheel barrows, manure forks – Sharpie markers, expo pens, hand wipes/hand sanitizer, fly spray, horse shampoo, etc. What we don’t need… – Leg wraps, splint boots, heavy horse blankets, helmets (we can not accept them due to liability issues) To donate a horse to the program, please contact Kathi Dancer
